Warmińsko-Mazurski Ośrodek Doskonalenia Nauczycieli w Elblągu Warminsko-Mazurski In-Service Teacher Training Center in Elbląg
The center is responsible for organizing and conducting various workshops, training courses and conferences for educational staff in nine administrative regions, in line with state educational policies.
There are 28 advisors (educational staff) and 11 administration and service employees.
The principal statutory objectives of the Center are:
identifying teachers' needs and forecasts of their situation in the educational system,
planning of actions aimed at teachers' professional development and advancement,
cooperating with other institutions and organizations dealing with pre-service and in-service teachers training,
supporting teachers' self-education and their innovatory initiatives,
offering and organizing retraining courses in cooperation with higher education institutions,
cooperating with higher education institutions in organizing post-graduate studies.
